I've been ordering from Vanilla Bean King for quite some time now. I buy their Grade A Madagascar Vanilla beans to make homemade extract for Christmas gifts. Their beans are always soft and suptle and very fragrant.
This is amazing vanilla. I ran out of my Mexican vanilla and had to buy a little bottle from the grocery store and my baked goods were not the same. This vanilla is just fabulous! It has a deep unctuous vanilla flavor that reminds me of Christmas.
It’s got great taste the bottles a little weird so I had to put it in something else. I was gonna order the beans but you couldn’t beat this price for the size. I will order beans from them next.. easily five stars if take a bottle and in something a little more user-friendly.
The flavor is not what i expected. It tastes like alcohol and the vanilla flavor almost tastes watered down and artificial.
The flavor was excellent.
This is the only vanilla extract I will use, ever since I started using it a few years ago. It gives my cakes that flavor similar to grandma's cakes, (the kind that tasted even better the next day.) Plus this is a large bottle but not a large price. I only wish I had known about it sooner.
I have already used this vanilla in many things I have baked, and I love it. It definitely gives a wonderful flavor to my baked goods.
